White Wishes are an indie-rock band from St. Petersburg, Russia. They make their 7" vinyl debut on Shelflife with the "Come And Say Hello" b/w "Jimmy" single. Two pure pop tracks with a nod to classic c86 influences. Fuzz filled and blissfully simple, "Come And Say Hello" could be a lost Golden Dawn single from a parallel Sarah Records universe. The upbeat, effortlessly catchy "Jimmy" is filled with sonic pop bliss. Nikita's brilliant Stephen Pastel-esque vocals are perfect against his punchy guitar strum. "Come And Say Hello" is shaping up to be the single of the summer.

Praise for White Wishes:
"...delicious listen from beginning to end, full of irresistible hooks, hazy vocals, and clean instrumentals. Pulsing and progressive, these guys have balanced that tricky line between loose and focused."
"Motorama, My Teenage Stride, Smiths stripped down to a one man band. Sometimes with some programmed drummer sometimes just plain guitar and reverb drenched voice. It's quite nice."
- Dying for Bad Music
"It is reminiscent in parts of bands like The Field Mice and Galaxy 500 but also has it's own sound which is very much today."
- Burning World
"Sounding like a cross between Minks and Real Estate, White Wishes continues to deliver relaxed tunes coursing dreamy guitar riffs and oozing soothing vocals."
"I'm not often at a loss for words when it comes to music, but regarding White Wishes let me say this: if this is what they are choosing to just give away, the official release should be phenomenal."
"The lush and airy vocals soar right over the big reverb-y percussion, as the jangly guitar-hook sits quietly in the background. It's warm and inviting, a gentle touch."
